Ivanna, you came through at the end of the semester with some great work. Unfortunately they were not thoroughly developed. I would have like to see you enrolled in 141 so that your skills could be inline with your great ideas. I want to see more regular and urban photos from surrounding LA, that are situated in another photograph on site. Look at J.R., the artist - as huge prints on the side of buildings, the idea would become informative and confrontational, which is what you wanted to do with the positive approach to nuclear energy. But I cannot visualize this without the images being represented on site – so that will be a photo inside a photo – I have to see them 1. POSTERS: They were starting to work but need more refinement with typography - particularly the leading and placement on the page – seemed to sit in front of the picture. 2. BUS BOARDS: / BUS SEAT: this was the most effective of all – placed into the seat creates an interactive experience - I become a part of the advertisement. IDEA / Slogan: nuclear energy can support a great deal of energy in a city so your concept of placing the posters in transport in the urban environment is solid. Your concept came a long way – but you are now just starting to get a good campaign. It took you too long to take the photos and was not prepared to continue to really photographically explore the urban environment. I think this would have helped with your concept transformation as you moved through your ideas. 3. Not enough work
